How to Retrofit (wire) SSG Paddle Shifters on an E9X E90 E91 E92 E93 LCI without Paddle Shifters

Are you tired of the boring non-sport steering wheel? If so and would like to retrofit (wire) the sport wheel with SSG paddle shifters here is a guide.

Supplies Needed:

• Wire Taps (14 to 18 Gauge)
• 18 Gauge or larger wiring (1 foot or larger)
• Wire Stripper or similar
• Sport Steering wheel with SSG paddle shifters

Step 1. Wiring the Steering Wheel to the Multi-Function Connector (DCT Mod Left Pull to Downshift and Right Pull to Upshift).

• Make a T Wire from Pin 2 in each connect to the ground.
• Make a second T Wire from Pin 1 Left Paddle to Pin 3 Right Paddle into Pin 6 of the Multi-      Function Harness.
• NOTE: Do not plug the paddle shift wire into the Left and Right Multi-Function Buttons

Step 2. Wiring the Shifter to the Slipring.
